To invite friends to a Facebook Page, open the Page and look for **Invite Friends** in its options menu. Select the friends you want to invite, then choose **Send Invites**. Facebook's [Page invitation instructions](https://www.facebook.com/help/174333482624856) describe this path for inviting friends to like or follow a Page. The exact labels can differ between the desktop site, mobile apps, and Page experiences, so start from the Page itself rather than assuming every account has the same dashboard.

An invitation gives someone the choice to connect with your Page. It does not make them a follower, guarantee they will see future posts, or cause the Page to grow at a predictable rate. If the option is missing, check which Facebook profile you are using, your access to the Page, and whether the person is eligible for another invitation.

## Before you invite anyone: Like and Follow are different

People often search for “invite people to like my Facebook Page,” but the invitation Facebook shows may say **Like** or **Follow**. Meta's [introduction to the new Pages experience](https://about.fb.com/news/2021/01/introducing-the-new-page-experience/) distinguishes followers from likes: followers are the people who may receive Page updates. A like is a separate expression of support. The wording and visible counts depend on the Page experience a reader has.

For practical purposes, use the option Facebook presents on your Page. Do not tell invitees they must both like and follow, and do not assume a reaction to one post means the person already follows the Page. Check the Page's own follower display if you need to understand the audience it currently shows. An invitation is a request, not a way to change someone else's setting for them.

## Invite your Facebook friends from the Page

Facebook's current Help Center describes a Page-level invitation flow. On a computer, try the following:

1. Sign in to Facebook and open the Page you want to share.
2. Open the **Options** menu near the Page's cover area and look for **Invite Friends**. Some layouts use a three-dot icon for this menu.
3. If Facebook asks which profile to use, choose the profile with the friends you intend to invite. The Help Center calls this **Switch profiles** in its illustrated flow.
4. Review the names Facebook offers. Select only people for whom the Page is relevant.
5. Choose **Send Invites** and let each person decide whether to like or follow the Page.

These steps describe the route in Meta's [help article](https://www.facebook.com/help/174333482624856), not a promise that every app version places buttons in the same location. On a phone, open the Page and inspect its options menu for an equivalent invitation control. If you cannot find one, try the desktop Page or Facebook's own help article for your device. Avoid repeatedly sending requests to the same people because a missing or disabled action can reflect an account, Page, or invitation state you cannot resolve by tapping again.

If you help manage several Pages, confirm the Page name before selecting recipients. It is easy to confuse a personal profile, a professional-mode profile, and a business Page. Facebook documents [profile invitations separately from Page invitations](https://www.facebook.com/help/174333482624856). Use the Page-specific option for this task.

## What about people who reacted to a Page post?

Someone who reacted to a post is different from a Facebook friend. Some Page or business-management screens may show an **Invite** action for eligible people who interacted with Page content. If your Page currently displays that action, inspect the label and the intended destination before sending anything. Only invite people for whom Facebook actually shows the option; do not assume that every reactor, commenter, or viewer is selectable.

Meta's public friend-invitation help linked above does **not** establish a universal **Professional Dashboard → Invite People to Connect** path for post engagers. This is why a fixed five-step dashboard recipe can fail. If you see a separate audience or invitation tool in Meta Business Suite, follow the controls visible to your Page rather than treating a screenshot or older tutorial as a stable menu. A reaction list can include existing followers, people who already received an invitation, and people for whom no invitation action appears. It is not a complete list of potential new followers.

Be especially careful when an outside tool offers to “invite everyone” automatically. The Page's native controls show the choices Meta currently makes available. This article does not recommend collecting people's profile information or using bulk automation to bypass those controls.

## If Invite Friends is missing

First, make sure you opened the intended Page, not just one of its posts or a personal profile. Look for its Page name and cover area, then open its options menu. If Facebook offers a profile switch, check the profile selected for the invitation.

Second, check how you access the Page. Meta distinguishes [Facebook access and task access](https://www.facebook.com/help/289207354498410/r.php/). People with Facebook access can switch into a Page in Facebook; people with task access manage allowed tasks through business tools and cannot switch into the Page in the same way. That distinction can explain why two teammates see different menus. It does not prove that changing someone's access is necessary or appropriate just to send invites. Ask a Page owner or administrator to confirm the right access if this is a shared Page.

Third, check whether the invitation is already pending or the person already follows the Page. Facebook may not show another action for the same recipient. If a button is disabled, read the message Facebook provides before trying a different surface. The available actions can depend on account state, Page settings, app version, and Facebook's current feature availability; this article cannot diagnose those states from outside the account.

Finally, use Facebook's help documentation or in-product support path if the Page-level option remains unavailable. There is no need to change the Page category, pay for an ad, or give someone full control of the Page merely to compensate for a missing invitation button.

## Invite people thoughtfully

Choose friends with a plausible interest in the Page's topic. A neighborhood workshop, for example, may be useful to nearby friends; a specialist hobby Page may suit the friends who have asked about that hobby. This is a relevance judgment, not a claim that Facebook will recommend the Page to those people or reward the invitations.

Make the Page understandable before asking anyone to follow it. A clear description, recognizable profile image, and a few current posts help a recipient decide whether the invitation is useful. Send the invitation through Facebook's own control and respect the person's choice. Do not imply that accepting is required to stay friends or receive a personal reply.

If you also share the Page link elsewhere, make the context honest: tell people what the Page covers and why it might interest them. Sharing a link and sending a Facebook invitation are different actions. Neither gives permission to add someone to a mailing list, scrape their account details, or promise that they will see every Page post.

## Common questions

### Can I invite someone who is not my Facebook friend?

The documented **Invite Friends** flow is for friends. If Facebook separately displays an invitation action for someone who interacted with your Page content, you can consider that in-product option. Do not assume an arbitrary Facebook user can be invited simply by knowing their name or visiting their profile.

### Why does my Page say Follow instead of Like?

Page experiences present these actions differently. Meta has explained that followers are the people who may receive Page updates, whereas a like and a follow are not identical. Use the wording the recipient actually sees and avoid promising that either action guarantees delivery of your posts.

### Can I invite everyone at once?

Only use the selection controls Facebook currently offers on your Page. There is no universal batch size or invitation allowance established by the sources for this guide. If an option disappears or Facebook pauses invitations, do not use third-party automation to work around it.

### Will sending more invitations make my Page grow faster?

No predictable result follows from the number sent. Recipients may ignore or decline an invitation, and following does not guarantee that they will see every post. A relevant, accurate Page and respectful invitations give people a reason to decide for themselves.
