110 Hair Extension Captions for Instagram to Share Your New Look

Hair extensions have a way of changing more than just your hair. New length, new volume, sometimes a whole new attitude to go with it, and the process of getting there usually takes long enough to fill up a camera roll on its own.

From the first salon selfie to the big reveal, every stage deserves its own caption. Below are 110 original hair extension captions for Instagram, sorted by mood, so you're covered from start to finish.

How to Write Incredible Hair Extension Captions for Instagram

New hair tends to speak for itself, but a good caption still adds something.

• Share a bit of the process. Anyone who hasn't done extensions before is usually curious what the actual experience is like.
• Lean into humor if you're not sure what else to say. A pun about "growing" your hair overnight practically writes itself.
• Play with the classic inspirational-quote format and give it a hair-specific twist. It's an easy way to make an overused caption style feel fresh again.
• A short, meaningful line about beauty or confidence works well too, especially for the big reveal photo.
