How to Find Saved Items on Facebook Marketplace
Find listings you saved on Facebook Marketplace in the app or on desktop. Check collections, distinguish saved searches, and troubleshoot missing items.

To find a Marketplace listing you saved, open Facebook with the same account, enter Marketplace, and look for Saved in its menu, Your items, or your Marketplace profile. If you placed the listing in a collection, open that collection too. The app and desktop website can display different navigation, so follow the labels visible to you instead of relying on an icon being in a fixed corner.
The distinction matters: saving a listing marks that particular item for later. Saving a search keeps search criteria for future matches. A Messenger conversation with a seller is a third place to check, but it does not mean that the listing was saved. The steps below help you identify which of those you used.
Find saved Marketplace listings in the Facebook app
- Open the Facebook app and confirm you are using the account that saved the item. If you have more than one Facebook profile or account, start with the one you used when browsing.
- Open Marketplace from the visible navigation or Facebook menu. If it is not shown among your shortcuts, expand the menu and look for Marketplace there.
- In Marketplace, look for a personal or buying area. Depending on the app version, its labels may include Saved, Your items, or a profile control. Open the saved-listings area if it appears.
- Check any Collections you created. A listing you organized into a collection can be easier to find there than in a long general list.
- Select the listing and read its current status, price, location, and description before contacting the seller. A save reflects your interest when you marked it; it is not a reservation or confirmation that the item is still for sale.
Meta's original Marketplace introduction described saved items under Your Items. Its 2025 collections announcement describes saving a listing and adding it to a collection. Those sources confirm the functions, but neither guarantees today's exact menu position on every device or account. If your screen differs, use the nearest Marketplace personal area rather than treating an older screenshot as a requirement.
Find them on a computer
On the Facebook website, sign in to the account that saved the item and open Marketplace from the site's navigation. Look for a Saved, Your items, or similar section in Marketplace. If you do not see one there, check Facebook's broader Saved area and any collections you created. Open the item to verify it is the listing you intended.
Desktop navigation may differ from the phone app. A collection or shortcut visible on one surface may appear in a different place on another. Do not assume the item has been removed just because a particular sidebar label is absent. Try the app with the same account, or use Facebook's Help Center from the current interface to locate the updated menu. We have not independently verified one universal desktop path for all accounts and regions, so these are routes to inspect rather than a promise that every label will appear.
If you have a direct link that you previously copied into your notes or a message, opening it can help identify the listing. It may still be unavailable, and a copied link is not evidence that the seller has kept the item active.
Check a collection before deciding an item is missing
Meta introduced Marketplace collections as a way to group listings. Its announcement says people can save a listing, start a collection, and choose whether that collection is public or private. If you remember giving the group a name, open the collection and inspect it before scrolling through every saved item. This is particularly useful when you have saved many listings in different categories.
Do not assume that all collections have the same audience. When creating or sharing one, review its visibility setting and the people you invite. A private collection and a public or shared collection are different privacy choices. If a collection is shared with friends, consider whether the listings and any notes you add are things you want that group to see. The Meta announcement describes public and private choices and inviting friends; it does not establish that every account has the feature or identical controls.
Saved listing, saved search, or seller conversation?
These three actions solve different problems:
| What you did | Where to look | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Saved one listing | Marketplace Saved, Your items, or a collection | A reference to a particular item, subject to its current availability |
| Saved a search | Marketplace search or saved-search controls | Your criteria and potentially newly matching listings, not the original item |
| Messaged the seller | The Marketplace conversation in Messenger | Your conversation, which may include a link or details about the listing |
Meta has described saved searches as a way to receive notifications when new listings match criteria. If you remember a search phrase and notification but cannot find one particular saved item, check the saved-search area. If you remember a conversation, search your Marketplace messages for the seller instead. Neither path guarantees the listing remains available.
Save an item so you can find it again
Open a Marketplace listing and look for Save or the available save control. If Facebook asks where to put it, choose an existing collection or create one, then review that collection's audience before sharing. Meta's Marketplace and collections announcements confirm the save function and the newer grouping option. The exact prompt can vary, and the collection feature may be rolling out differently across accounts.
For an important listing, note its title, location, and asking price when you save it. Those details help you recognize the right result later, especially when several sellers advertise similar products. Recheck the live listing before making plans: information may have changed since your first view. Do not send payment merely because an item remains in a saved list; use the current listing and your conversation with the seller to assess the transaction.
Why a saved item may not open or appear
First, confirm the account. Your saved list belongs to the Facebook account that performed the save. Opening another account or profile will not necessarily show the same list. Then check the collection, the general Saved area, and the saved-search distinction above. These checks avoid treating a navigation mismatch as a deleted item.
Next, try the same account in the app and desktop website. Menus can be arranged differently, and a temporary loading problem can affect what is visible. Reopen Marketplace and check whether other saved items load. If the entire area is unavailable, follow Facebook's current Help Center instructions for access or interface issues rather than entering credentials into a third-party recovery tool.
Finally, the listing itself may no longer be available to you. A seller can change a listing's status or remove it; Marketplace access and listing visibility can also change. The Meta sources reviewed for this guide do not promise that a sold or removed listing stays visible in Saved, nor do they provide a universal way to restore it. If you had already spoken with the seller, check that conversation for context. If you only saved the listing, use a new Marketplace search to find comparable active items. Avoid presenting a missing saved entry as proof of a sale, block, or account problem: the saved list alone does not establish the cause.
Are your saved Marketplace items private?
Meta's general Save introduction says saved items are visible to the person who saved them unless shared. That older statement describes the save action, not a blanket privacy promise for every newer Marketplace collection. Meta now describes collections with public or private choices and friend invitations. Review the audience on any collection you create or share. Also distinguish saving from commenting on a listing or messaging a seller: those are separate actions with their own visible participants.
If privacy matters, keep the collection private, check its audience again before sharing a link or inviting someone, and avoid putting sensitive notes in a shared collection. The current audience displayed by Facebook is the practical setting to trust for that collection; do not infer privacy solely from the fact that you saved an item.
Quick answers
Where is Saved in the Facebook app? Start in Marketplace and inspect its personal or buying menu for Saved, Your items, or a profile section. Also check collections. Facebook changes layouts, so the exact tap sequence can vary.
Can I see saved Marketplace items on a computer? Open Marketplace on facebook.com and look for its Saved or Your items area. If it is not there, check Facebook's general Saved area or the same account in the app. A missing shortcut does not itself confirm that the item was deleted.
Will a sold item stay in my saved list? Do not rely on that. The official sources reviewed here do not promise persistence or a particular sold-item display. Reopen the live listing if available and confirm with the seller before acting.
Is a saved search the same as a saved listing? No. A saved search keeps criteria for future matching listings; a saved listing points to one item. Check both areas if you are unsure which action you took.
Can other people see what I saved? A simple save and a shared or public collection have different visibility implications. Check the audience of each collection and whom you invite before assuming its contents are private.
