How to Get Your TikTok Profile Link

Find and share your TikTok profile link from the app, distinguish it from a video link, and check your address after a username change.

Your profile link points to your TikTok account, rather than to one video or photo post. Use it when someone needs to find the account itself. TikTok's sharing help says to begin at Profile, then Share profile, and choose how to share. If you need one specific post instead, follow How to Copy a TikTok Post Link.

  1. Open TikTok and tap Profile at the bottom of the app.
  2. Tap Share profile.
  3. Choose the available method that fits your destination. If Copy link is offered, use it and then paste the address into your message, bio field, or document. You can also use one of TikTok's direct sharing choices.
  4. Open the pasted link once to confirm that it leads to the account you intended.

TikTok documents Profile → Share profile → choose a method. Its help does not promise a Copy link button in the same place for every app version. The older article's description of a large QR code and an always-present Copy Link button should not be published as a universal sequence.

Share someone else's profile

Open the person's profile, then use the Share control available near the top or through the profile picture and choose a sharing method. TikTok describes this path in the same sharing help. Check the username before sending; nicknames can look similar, but the username identifies the account in its profile link.

Use your profile QR code

For an in-person share, TikTok documents Profile → Menu ☰ → My QR code. Another person can scan it with their device camera or TikTok's QR scanner. This is an alternative to pasting a text link, and the menu location can vary. TikTok's sharing guide covers the QR path.

TikTok says the username is part of the profile link and changing the username changes that link. If you previously placed your TikTok address on another website or social account, copy the current profile address and update the old listing after a username change. Do not assume an old address will keep reaching your profile.

If a copied link does not lead to the expected account, revisit the profile and copy or share it again. That is safer than building an address from a nickname, since TikTok distinguishes nicknames from usernames. A profile link only directs people to your account; it does not grant access to posts beyond their visibility settings.
